Claim FAQ

Is it really free?
Yes. Claiming and maintaining a listing on PawListed is free for pet businesses. We do not charge to be listed, to respond to reviews, or to update your profile. We are supported by optional featured placements, which are clearly labeled and never affect your organic ranking.
How do you verify I own the business?
You can verify with any one of: (a) a recent utility bill showing the business name and address, (b) a Utah business license in your name, or (c) a phone callback to a public business number where we confirm your identity. We never share the documents with third parties.
How long does approval take?
Most claims are approved within 2 business days. If we need additional verification, we'll email you with exactly what we need. We do not approve claims automatically — every claim is reviewed by a human.
Can I import my Google or Yelp reviews?
Yes. After your claim is approved, you can request a one-time import of reviews from your public Google Business Profile. We deduplicate against any reviews already on PawListed and tag imported reviews with a small "Imported from Google" label so users know the source.
Can I delete a negative review?
No. PawListed does not allow businesses to delete or pay to remove reviews. You can respond to any review publicly. If you believe a review violates our community guidelines (spam, off-topic, conflicts of interest), you can flag it for moderator review and we'll evaluate within 5 business days.
What if my business isn't on PawListed yet?
Use the "Add Your Business Manually" button that appears when your search returns no results. We'll create the listing and route you through the same verification flow.
